Meghalaya College Teachers' Association was constituted in the year 1972 with an aim to strive for and contribute towards all round improvement of education in the State in general and of collegiate education in particular. This year will be a new milestone to the association - the 50th year of its work. Thus, in an Extend Executive Committee held on 16th July 2021, it was decided that a year long Golden Jubilee Celebration would be observed.
To mark the beginning of the celebration, an Inaugural Function of the year long Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Meghalaya College Teachers' Association will be held on the 31st July 2021 at 3:00 pm. Keeping in mind the protocols issued by the government the event will be held in online mode.
Shri. Lahkmen Rymbui, Hon'ble Education Minister, Government of Meghalaya, i/c Border Areas Development Department, District Council Affairs Department, Education Department, Home (Police) Department, has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest.
Dr. W. R. Kharlukhi, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, has kindly consented to be the Guest of Honour.
